OE: How should the government respond to the MAC report on international students?

The Migration Advisory Committee recently published its report on the impact of international students in the UK.  Open Europe's Jacob Osborne argues that the government should go beyond its recommendations.

While the UK remains the second most popular destination for international students in the world, its share of the market has declined slightly in recent years.  As such, the report provides a number of recommendations on how the UK can remain a global competitor in higher education after we leave the EU.
