Ordnance Survey sponsors Lordshill 10k Race
17 Jun 2014 11:45 AM
Ordnance Survey is delighted to announce
their continued sponsorship of this year’s Lordshill 10k
Race.
The Race will be held on Sunday 29 June 2014, starting at 10
am, and will follow a route mapped out by the Lordshill runners, with the help
of Ordnance Survey.
In
its 24th year, the Lordshill 10k race is a popular event among club runners and
beginners alike. This year, runners will be aiming to set a new course record
as they once again head off from Ordnance Survey’s head office at
Explorer House in Nursling, which will act as the Race’s headquarters for
the day and will provide access to changing and showering
facilities.

The
course, marshalled by enthusiastic supporters, winds its way around the lanes
of Rownhams and Nursling before returning to the finish line at Explorer
House.
With an array of prizes, mementos for all participants,
toddler dashes and a new 2k children’s fun run, it is set to be a great
day out.
Participants and their supporters are invited to bring a
picnic and sit out in the extensive landscaped grounds (if the weather is
good).
