Plan for the rugby rush

More than a million spectators are expected in the Capital over the next six weeks as London hosts Rugby World Cup 2015.

With events already in motion in Twickenham, services to and from the area, particularly from Waterloo, will be much busier than usual during the evening peak.

We are helping to make sure it is the best tournament ever with a squad of 550 Travel Ambassadors.

Kitted out in magenta, they will be helping spectators get around the city and will make sure regular users of the transport network know that it will busier at different times around venues.

With 17 games being played at three venues - Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, Wembley Stadium and Twickenham Stadium - passengers are urged to plan their journeys in advance on our Rugby Travel page.
