Celebrating examples of best practice and the extraordinary achievements of professional communicators over the past year, the Public Service Communications Awards will take place on Day 2 of the event.

The awards will recognise campaigns and communications of all sizes and budgets, including no-cost and low-cost communications, local, regional and national activity. This may be a communications campaign, a consultation, or another type of engagement activity.

There are 6 categories in this year’s awards: Unified, Digital, Direct, Data-Driven, Skilled, Diversity and Inclusion. For more information, including how to enter, visit our Get Involved page.

Last year GCS’ Professional Standards Team won the award in the Skilled category. Jo Pennington, Acting Head of Curriculum, Engagement and Assessment, yesterday commented:

“Being recognised for our work in front of colleagues from across public service communications was such an honour – it meant a huge amount to me personally to see my team recognised for their incredible work. It’s really given us renewed drive and energy to continue to support the professional development of GCS members.”
