SFO opens investigation into Greenergy and biodiesel trading

The SFO can confirm that it has opened a joint investigation with the Dutch authorities concerning certain aspects of biodiesel trading at Greenergy and various third parties.
Searches were conducted on the 30th April at five sites across the UK and additional sites in the Netherlands and Belgium. Four individuals have been arrested and released without charge.
As this is an ongoing investigation, no further comment or information can be provided at this time.
