Single-use vapes: Post-Adoption Statement from the Scottish Government

The Scottish Government has issued a Post-Adoption Statement to be published as part of the Strategic Environmental Assessment for the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) (Scotland) Regulations 2024.

It contains the following sections.

1. Introduction to restrictions on the sale and supply of single-use vapes.
2. How environmental considerations have been integrated into the restrictions on the sale and supply of single-use vapes.
3. How the environmental report has been taken into account.
4. How opinions expressed on the consultation have been taken into account.
5. The reasons for choosing to restrict the sale and supply of single-use vapes, as detailed in the SEA consultation.
6. The measures decided concerning monitoring.
