Spooktacular Halloween treats

From ghoulish walks to terror tombs, there are some truly creepy Halloween activities taking place.

Here are some of our top picks to help you plan your own scary adventure.

London Riverboat Voyages
London RIB is running a special Halloween boat trip followed by a Ripper walking tour. You will be on board one of the 12-man speedboats passing under Tower Bridge. The route will go all the way to the Thames Barrier and back.

Passengers will be accompanied by spooky music as well as the incredible views that the Thames has to offer. When the boat tour ends, you will be taken into the heart of the East End for a special Jack the Ripper walking tour. Follow the trail of the elusive criminal. Tickets are £45 for adults and £85 for couples.

SinisterSmithfield Halloween Walk
Take to the streets of London at its darkest as the City and the Square Mile's gruesome history is revealed in this Halloween walk. With tales of executions and shadowy figures, this tour is perfect for those interested in the city's deep and murky history. Prices range from £3 for children and £8 for adults. Taking
place Saturday October 31 at 16:00.

Emirates Air Line
Ghoulish figures and ghostly music will take over London's cable car, along with breathtaking views of London to boot.

Passengers can also enjoy trips after dark, thanks to later opening times throughout autumn and winter with night flights running until 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. The Halloween Experience will run from Wednesday October 21 to Saturday October 31.

Make sure to use an Oyster card and enjoy 25 per cent off your trip.

Thames Riverboat Experience
Fancy Halloween on the Thames? For £52 you will gain entry into the Terror Tombs and a 50-minute Canary Wharf Experience speedboat trip. Ticket admits one person to The London Bridge Experience & Tombs and a 50-minute adrenalin ride aboard the Thames RIB Experience from Embankment.

You do not have to do both activities on the same day. In the Terror Tombs you will encounter evil clowns as well as nesting spiders. This experience is certainly not for the faint hearted! After escaping from the tombs, passengers will take in the views of London from the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf further down river to see historic Greenwich from the River and also on to some of the modern wonders
of this fantastic City - The O2 and The Thames Flood Barrier.
