Tender Opportunity: Highways Surfacing

Darlington Borough Council, working on behalf of NEPO, has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for NEPO210 Highways Surfacing.

The solution aims to meet the requirements of North East contracting authorities carrying out annual planned structural maintenance, whereby carriageways and footways are resurfaced or reconstructed.

The solution has been structured under the following lots:

• Asphaltic Concrete
• Grouted Macadam
• Surface Dressing
• Glass Fibre Reinforced Surface Dressing
• Hot Applied High Friction Surfacing
• Cold Applied High Friction Surfacing
• Coloured Surfacing
• Slurry Seal of Footways
• Slurry Seal / Micro Asphalt of Carriageways
• Carriageway in Full Depth Recycling
• Carriageway Re-tread
• Brush Hammer Mechanical Retexturing
• Captive Shot Blasting - Mechanical Retexturing
• Hydro blasting - Surface Retexturing
• Patching
• Spray Injection Patching
• Road Markings

The solution is expected to commence from December 2019 and will be available for use by North East public sector organisations.

The deadline for ITT responses is noon 27 August 2019.
