The solution can be accessed by UK local authorities and was awarded as a flexible procurement agreement, which means that twice per year providers have the opportunity to tender to join the solution.

The latest opportunity for providers to join the solution has been published with a deadline of 5pm, Friday 28 August 2020. The opportunity can be viewed on the NEPO Portal.

Newcastle City Council lead the procurement of NEPO605 on behalf of NEPO. Becky Polito, Commissioning and Procurement Lead Specialist at Newcastle City Council yesterday said:

“Since its launch in 2018 NEPO605 Children’s Complaints, Advocacy and Representations has delivered vital statutory services via a wide range of providers including social care consultancies, independent social care consultants and charities specialising in socio-legal services.

“We welcome tender submissions from both established providers and new entrants to the market, both organisations and sole traders, to help support choice and supply chain resilience across Children’s Services.”

NEPO encourage providers to register on the NEPO Portal in order to receive notification of future opportunities. Registration is free of charge.
