Happy International Women’s Day!
This year, we are celebrating some of the exceptional women we work with at AXELOS. These women are experts in their fields and respected leaders in their thought-communities. We ask a lot, but they always come out on top and deliver amazing work!
So, we are proud to recognize…
Sally is an amazingly accomplished multi-award winner. She was the Everywoman Team Leader of the Year 2019, Women in IT Business Role Model of the Year 2018, and Inspirational Leader of the Year 2017. Phew! She’s the Meryl Streep of women in IT.
Sally is a well-known supporter of the enhancement and empowerment of women in tech and is one of AXELOS’s most popular writers and has written our blog post, A new approach to implementing ITSM as well as a white paper for My AXELOS.
Interestingly, Erika first trained as a microbiologist, but she was missing something in her career so she switched to working with larger lifeforms. She is a strategic advisor and coach, an ITIL/Scrum instructor, and a digital strategist across a variety of industries.
In 2006, Erika founded BEYOND20, an IT consulting, training, and software development company that is a frequent sponsor of STEM events. Big up Erika!
Erika is one of the lead editors for ITIL® 4: Digital and IT Strategy, which will be published later this year.
Ruth has been at the forefront of risk management for over four decades. Wow, that is what you call an expert! Her interest in risk management arose from a passion to help organizations take educated risks instead of avoiding them.
Ruth was the lead author of Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners (2010) and she is still an important contributor to our PPM portfolio.
Lou is a respected ITIL Expert with over thirty years of experience. We know first-hand that she can hold her own in tough environments, working incredibly hard on a punishing schedule to, as she puts it, ‘advance the art and practice of service management’.
Lou contributed significantly to the evolution of ITIL. Most recently, she was the lead editor for ITIL® 4: Direct, Plan and Improve.
Dinara once worked as a developer and database administrator, but she missed working with people and changed her focus to IT service management and infrastructure operations. She has been unstoppable ever since: a trailblazer. Here’s a great example: she was one of the first women in the Commonwealth of Independent States to get the ITIL v2 ITSM Manager certification. Belated congratulations!
Dinara is contributing enormously to the most recent evolution of ITIL. She is the lead editor for the ITIL 4 practices.
Katrina is all about human-centred design, developing new ways of working, and providing the very best for her clients. She is an ITIL Master, the Director of STCK Consulting, and a very popular conference speaker. Most importantly, Katrina was the mastermind behind ITIL 4’s Golden Thread: a story that brings ITIL to life!
Cornerstone Service Management literally wouldn’t exist without Lisa (because she founded it). Her industry experience is rich, including work in higher education, manufacturing, retail, financial services, engineering, and government. Oh, but it doesn’t stop there! Lisa has excelled in project management; she has established a project management office, designed and implemented many processes and integrated service management and project management practices. Outstanding
Lisa contributed to Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2® and has written several blog posts for AXELOS, whose topics include PMBOK and PRINCE2, the role of a project manager, and minimum viable processes.
Antonina is a true pioneer: one of the founders of the ITSM community in Belarus and the creator of the ApplyArt method. She is an experienced ITSM consultant and trainer, so if you ever need advice about sustainable transformation, she’s the person to talk to.
Antonina has contributed significantly to ITIL® 4: Drive Stakeholder Value, the ITIL practices, and other content for AXELOS. Click here to read her white paper for AXELOS Experience Level Agreements in ITIL 4.
Thanks to all of these fantastic women from all of us at AXELOS!
