Information regarding apprentices registered with BCS by 3aaa – 16 October 2018.

BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, is in communication with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) about the transition of apprentices following the announcement the training provider, Aspire Achieve Advance (3aaa) has gone into administration.

Annette Allmark, Head of Apprenticeships at BCS yesterday said: “Our priority is to put the apprentice first and help ensure arrangements are made that will prevent any of them being disadvantaged in their remaining learning and end-point assessment.”

BCS has been contacting employers who have apprentices registered with it to determine how best to help them and their completion of the knowledge modules and end-point assessment.

End-point assessment interviews booked up to the end of October for apprentices registered with BCS will be completed and enquiries can be directed to apprenticeships@bcs.uk.

The ESFA has written to all apprentices affected by the closure of 3aaa and has set up a point of contact for concerned apprentices, parents and employers with a dedicated email: 3.AAA@education.go.uk
