London

UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) and the Met Office invite applications to attend a town hall meeting focused on UK Climate Resilience in London (venue to be confirmed) on Thursday 3 October 2019.

The town hall meeting aims to further communicate the remit and objectives of the programme, the specific requirements of the second UKRI funding opportunity with topic areas 'Enhanced Climate Change Risk Assessment Capability' and 'Governing Adaptation', and bring together researchers from a variety of disciplines with interests in climate impacts and resilience in the UK. Attendance to the meeting is not mandatory for applicants of the UKRI call.

The town hall meeting will be run as two separate sessions covering the different topic areas, with Enhanced Climate Change Risk Assessment Capability in the morning and Governing Adaptation in the afternoon. Applicants must indicate which session(s) they want to attend.

If you wish to attend, please complete the online registration form. The closing date for applications is 16:00 on Wednesday 25 September 2019.

With limited space available, participants to the event will be selected to ensure an appropriate balance of expertise and institutional representation. Applicants will be advised on whether their application is successful by no later than Friday 27 September.
