Universal Credit: Volunteer for trial of electronic UC47 for private landlords

7 Aug 2019 01:47 PM

Landlords who have experience of renting to tenants in receipt of Universal Credit are being invited to take part in some trial research sessions.

The trial, which will be run by the Department for Work and Pensions, will relate to the electronic UC47 form, in order to ensure the service will work for larger numbers of users.

Those landlords and letting agents selected for the trial will be able to use the service immediately.

The trial group will be made up of landlords with various portfolio sizes, tenant profiles and experience of using the current process for applying for a direct rent payment or rent arrears deductions.

Participants will be invited to feedback on what works, what doesn’t work and how the service might be improved further.

Landlords who wish to volunteer are invited to complete this application form, and email it back to adpr.pbeta@dwp.gsi.gov.uk
