Welsh Language Commissioner’s Office: cyber attack statement

The Welsh Language Commissioner’s Office has recently suffered a cyber-attack including the possible loss of data. We are working with the appropriate authorities to investigate the matter and doing all that we can to recover the situation.

As a result of this incident, it is not possible to contact us by e-mail at the moment. Although there is no evidence to date that e-mails sent externally by us have been affected, as a precaution we recommend that any e-mails sent by the Commissioner's office from 2 December 2020 onwards are not opened.
