Landlords from across Wales have been invited to two online forums covering issues affecting the PRS during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Cardiff and Conwy landlord forums are open to landlords from both areas and beyond, with national updates to be provided as regards the coronavirus crisis.

Cardiff Landlord Forum

The online Cardiff Landlord Forum is being held on July 21.

Chairman and NRLA director Douglas Haig will give an update on issues including possession, the partial re-opening of the housing market and the student sector, to be followed by a question and answer session.

The online meeting room opens at 5.30pm with the forum itself to start at 6pm.

You can join from your computer, tablet or smartphone here, with the meeting to be broadcast via the GoToMeeting app, which can be downloaded here.

You can also dial in by calling 0330 221 0097 and using access code: 998 545 293.

Conwy Landlord Forum

The NRLA has teamed up with Conwy County Borough Council to deliver the next Conwy Landlord Forum on July 23.

The meeting will run from 6pm – 7.30pm, with the waiting room open from 5.30pm.

John Stewart, NRLA deputy director for policy and research, will chair the event and provide a comprehensive update on national legislation affecting the sector.

Conwy Council staff will also provide an update on local service arrangements and opportunities – with the opportunity to ask questions using the typed chat facility.

You can register by emailing Housingstrategy@conwy.gov.uk. The meeting will be recorded and made available after the event.
