What future for Europe’s foreign and defence policy?

Following a joint operation conducted by the US, France and the UK in Syria last week, Open Europe’s Enea Desideri considers how that intervention illustrates the foreign and defence policy dilemmas facing Europe after Brexit.

Events in Syria have made apparent that establishing greater military cooperation on the continent, as well as developing a truly European foreign policy that takes into account the new status of the UK after Brexit, will be crucial tasks in the upcoming months.
