Your voice: join our National Advisory Council

We are recruiting for new members of our National Advisory Council (NAC), to advise us on strategy and policy from a frontline perspective. 

The NAC offers members a unique opportunity to contribute to Homeless Link’s policy work by: 

• offering strategic advice to Homeless Link primarily through the Director of Social Change and Head of Policy & Research, on the development and impact of government policy on the ground
• shaping the national voice of Homeless Link’s responses to policy issues including feeding in the impact on homelessness and supported housing services and on people who are homeless and/or vulnerably housed
• commenting on drafts of policy briefings and consultation responses and responding to other requests from Homeless Link including case studies or other information  

We ask members to commit to four meetings a year, which are held on a quarterly basis on Zoom or at our Head Office in central London. If you would be interested in applying, please download and complete the application and EDI monitoring forms, then email it to Anne Damasus by 18 June 2021. 

There are currently thirteen vacancies. Homeless Link will be prioritising achieving a spread of new member representatives from across the country and a variety of service types. Due to the current mix of members we are particularly keen to include more of our smaller members (bands A&B), but will also be adding to the membership across all organisation sizes.
