The Minister for Finance and Trefnydd has agreed to continue funding for the eTenderWales and eTradingWales services, from April 2020 until March 2022.

The minister’s approval was required, as the procurement activity needed to commence before the Welsh Government budget for Financial Year 2020-2021 was finalised.

Following this announcement, we wish to provide further clarity around the status of the other centrally funded services.  

• Supplier Portfolio Manager, currently provided by Dun & Bradstreet, ends in February 2020. Funding for this falls in the current financial year and procurement activity will begin shortly.  
• ePaymentsWales, currently provided by Barclaycard, ends in December 2023 and funding is agreed until this date.
• Spend Analysis, currently provided by Atamis, ends in July 2020, but funding is approved until 2022. We have started planning the procurement activity.
• The Sell2Wales contract, provided by Millstream (part of Proactis group), ends in October 2020. This is funded as part of the Welsh Government’s Business Wales programme and we are currently planning a procurement exercise.
