eProcurement update

28 Oct 2019 03:36 PM

We have re-established an eProcurement user group which will met for the first time on 27 November 2019, 2pm – 4pm.

The group will be used to feed into the direction of the eProcurement toolset. If you are interested in attending, please contact us on ICTProcurement@gov.wales.

The Minister for Finance, Rebecca Evans, recently agreed to fund eProcurement services until March 2022. The contracts for eTradingWales and eTenderWales will expire at the end of March 2020. We are already working on a procurement exercise and we will update you when it has been completed.

ESPD (European Single Procurement Document)

Following discussions with stakeholders and the Welsh Government policy team, we will continue to use ESPD if the UK leaves the EU.

Stakeholders recently took part in an evaluation of ESPD solutions, in Sell2Wales and eTenderWales. We are working to develop a long term solution which we will make available to all stakeholders later on this financial year. We will share a clear delivery plan for the solution with stakeholders by the end of November 2019.
