techUK COVID-19 impact survey

31 Mar 2020 10:53 AM

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to unfold, techUK is surveying members and non-members about the virus’ impact on their business.

In the week where the virus was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO), techUK surveyed its members to understand the impact it was having on tech businesses in the UK. Since then (w/c 9 March) the situation has changed dramatically – restrictions on social distancing are now placed in law, the NHS is seeing more admissions of COVID cases and all non-essential business premises have been closed. To help shore up the economy and livelihoods the Government has responded with an unprecedented package of support including, a pay retention scheme, support for the self-employed and reliefs for businesses.

techUK yesterday launched a survey of the sector as a whole, members and non-members alike, to understand the impact of COVID-19 on businesses and whether the Government’s support package is helping to mitigate these impacts.

Through surveys and outreach to members and non-members alike techUK will be regularly taking the pulse of the sector as well as helping industry navigate through this crisis via our COVID-19 Hub

This questionnaire should take no longer than five minutes. All the information provided in this survey will be held anonymously; however, if you want to contribute further details, please email our dedicated inbox.

Once you have completed the survey, please share with others in your tech network. The survey will be open until 3pm, tomorrow 2nd April.
