Check out techUK’s latest Data Protection Briefing as the Bill reaches the final stages in the House of Commons.

head of the Data Protection Bill’s Report Stage and Third Reading in the House of Commons today (Wednesday 9 May), techUK has produced a round up briefing on the Data Protection Bill.

The Bill has received considerable attention as it has moved through both the House of Lords and House of Commons, with a far-ranging debate about the use of data in the UK’s modern digital economy.

The clock is now ticking on the Bill completing its passage through Parliament and must receive Royal Assent by 25 May in order to ensure the UK is compliant with GDPR.

Our briefing, downloadable below, takes you through the key issues still at play and outlines the importance of getting the Bill passed in time.
