LSN welcomes senior government officials from Afghanistan

During November, a group of senior Government officials from Afghanistan will be in the UK on an inward mission supported by TVETUK.

They are scheduled to visit LSN to gain an understanding of the UK education system with a particular focus on quality assurance.

Bill Malcolm, LSN’s Assistant Director for International markets will demonstrate our key contributions to the learning and development sector. We will also showcase LSN’s work on the  role of mobile learning within teaching and learning and how it could be successfully used in countries like Afghanistan.

The visit is part of a UK wide study tour, organised by the World Bank funded Afghanistan Skills Development Project. The group includes Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Education and Training, Higher Education, senior representatives of the First Vice President’s Office and the Committee on Skills Development and Policy, and senior representatives of the Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS) and the Ministry of Finance.
