Digital evolution: Making good things happen

Now Get online week is over, we’re getting ready for the next big date in the digital inclusion diary - our Digital evolution: Making good things happen conference.

The conference takes place on 4 December at the BT Centre in London, and we’re really pleased that we can share with you the great speakers you’ll see and the workshops you can take part in during the day.

You’ll be able to hear from the following speakers:

  • Anna-Maren Ashford,  Deputy Director, Partnerships and Digital Inclusion Teams, Cabinet Office
  • John Bird MBE, Social entrepreneur and Founder of the Big Issue
  • Anna Easton, BT’s Connected Society Programme Director
  • Erica Swanson, Program Manager for Digital Inclusion, Google US

As well as, of course, our Chief Executive Helen Milner and our Chairman Lord Knight of Weymouth.

We’ve also listened closely to your feedback on workshops, and so are running the following workshops during the conference:

  • Preparing for Universal Credit
  • Evaluating your projects
  • Fundraising outside the box

We’ll be running all workshops twice during the day, so you can take part in any two out of the three. And on top of this, we’ll be holding surgeries to help you get to grips with case studies, social media, PR and more, so you can spread the word about what you’re doing - plus you’ll have a chance to network with other digital inclusion practitioners from across the country.

You can find out more about the speakers and workshops on our website, as well as booking your tickets. They’re only £95+VAT for UK online centres’ partners, but they’re going quickly so book soon.
