Guidance about commercial organisations preventing bribery (section 9 of the Bribery Act 2010)
The Ministry of Justice has opened a consultation (closes on 8 November 2010) to anyone with an interest in the guidance to be published under section 9 of the Bribery Act.
The guidance is about procedures which commercial organisations can put in place to prevent persons associated with them from bribing.
You can respond or provide feedback to this consultation as follows:
post or email your response to the address shown in the consultation document; or
complete the online consultation questionnaire.
To support the consultation they will also be holding a number of open discussion seminars to further encourage the sharing of views on the form and content of the proposed guidance.
The events will take place on the following dates and locations:

These events will afford all interested parties from across the UK with an opportunity to air their views and provide helpful additional means of identifying key factors for consideration.
