Get a community development qualification
Do you work in the community? Would you like to get new skills, ideas and tools to help you do more of what you do best? The Level 3 Community Development Award could be for you.
It’s a nationally recognised qualification (accredited by the National Open College Network) that could give your projects a boost, and give you an edge with funders and employers. The course includes face to face events, webinars, online learning, phone call reviews and conference calls to ensure you get a thorough understanding of the material.
Lisa Darkin, from Shropshire Rural Community Council, is a current Community Development student. She says “What’s been great is actually sitting down and thinking about the approach I take to working in the community and evaluating it. I’ve really enjoyed hearing how others on the course approach their work and have definitely incorporated new ideas into what I do”.
If you’re involved in community work as a project manager, community activist or volunteer - this award is relevant to you. Get more skills to do more for your community - find out more here.
Still uncertain whether this qualification is for you? We've got a short taster webinar available for you to get an idea of what the course is all about.
