Dedicated website and logo to mark 100th anniversary of First World War

Special branding allows organisations to show they are marking the commemoration.

The government has launched a dedicated website and logo for the four-year programme of remembrance marking the 100th anniversary of the First World War between 2014 and 2018.

Latest news about the government plans for commemoration, including information of national events and activities from the cultural programme will feature on the website at

Together with Imperial War Museums (IWM), we are making available a special First World War centenary logo for non-commercial use. Individuals, organisations, special interest groups, companies and charities will be able to use it to mark their own remembrance activities and anniversary events.

IWM is also leading the First World War Centenary Partnership, a growing network of over 1,000 local, regional, national and international non-for-profit groups and organisations that are commemorating the centenary. Being a member of the Partnership is free and gives access to a wealth of expertise and resources as well as a branded logo.
