First 100 days of Government

A list of achievements and advances for Scotland in the 100 days since the re-election of Alex Salmond as First Minister by the Scottish Parliament in May 2011 has been published.

This comes before a Programme for Government which will be announced when Parliament returns from recess in September, and will contain a range of proposals such as minimum pricing of alcohol.

The Government is also taking forward major areas of policy such as public sector reform, including police and fire restructuring to remove duplication and maximise frontline services; the forthcoming spending review; and the anti-sectarianism Bill.
