FRC’s Financial Reporting Lab announces the commencement of a second project in relation to remuneration reporting

The Financial Reporting Lab is seeking help from listed companies to develop example formats of proposed disclosures on remuneration which - as with its previous project on this topic -  will help to shape the new remuneration reporting regulations being introduced by the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).

The project is being undertaken at the request of BIS. The responses to the government's most recent consultation highlighted challenges in relation to two specific proposed disclosure requirements, namely disclosures relating to: scenarios for what directors will get paid and the chart comparing company performance and CEO remuneration. Accordingly, this second project will focus on these two areas, and will result in a report including some specific recommendations.

Further details of the project, including how to register your interest, can be found
