The Foreign Secretary has approved the appointment of Mr Colin Munro CMG to be the United Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe at Vienna in succession to Mr John de Fonblanque CMG who will be retiring from the Diplomatic Service. Mr Munro will hold the personal rank of Ambassador and will take up his new appointment in November 2003.
