British wounded warriors return victorious

A team of wounded British servicemen and women arrived back on home soil recently after a highly successful week competing in the US Warrior Games.

The trip was supported and funded by the UK charity Help for Heroes and culminated in the team meeting His Royal Highness Prince Harry, who is himself a Captain in the Army, at the British Ambassador's residence in Washington.

The Warrior Games, an annual event hosted by the US Olympic Committee, saw wounded, injured and sick Service personnel and veterans competing in seven paralympic sporting events in Colorado from 30 April to 5 May.
