Defra publishes third sector strategy one year on report

The Third Sector Strategy One Year On report, was today published by Defra detailing the progress the department has made since the project’s launch in 2008.

Defra’s Third Sector Strategy is part of the Government’s wider commitment to working with voluntary and charitable organisations and demonstrates the department’s commitment to helping these organisations promote environmental sustainability.

This one year on report, published today, highlights the importance of the third sector organisations have made to Defra’s big projects from the publication of the latest climate projections, the passage of the Marine Bill through Parliament and the development of new policies on food security.
