Get online week 2013 - help us make the campaign!
13 May 2013 01:29 PM
Although it’s still a few months away, here at UK online centres HQ, we’re starting to make plans for Get online week 2013 (October 14 - 20) - and we need your help!
You might remember that last year’s campaign had the theme of ‘Find a Bigger Life online’, and in 2010 we asked people to 'Get more out of life online’. This year, we want the theme of our campaign to mean as much to potential learners as possible - so we’re asking you for your ideas.
Can you sum up in one snappy sentence, the difference that computers and the internet make to people? Do you have strong feelings about the people that benefit most from getting online? Maybe someone told you how much getting online meant to them in a way you’d never heard before?
We’re looking for a great tagline that tells everyone exactly how brilliant the internet can be and and encourage them to get online this Get online week!
If you’ve got an idea like that, you can tweet your taglines to @UKonlinecentres (using the hashtag #GOLW13), or post on our Facebook page. If you want to send us a short paragraph with a few thoughts and ideas, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
