Steve Bond

Ofcom is saddened to report the death of Steve Bond, who was responsible for much of Ofcom’s international spectrum work.

Steve joined Ofcom from the Radiocommunications Agency, and for more than a decade worked on international spectrum co-ordination as a Senior Advisor in International Policy.

For the past five years, Steve had led Ofcom’s international engagement on spectrum matters with key global institutions, including the ITU and CEPT, where he was instrumental in overseeing UK and European preparations for World Radio Conferences. Steve will be greatly missed by all of his colleagues in the UK and oversees alike and our thoughts are with his family.
