Hi

Welsh Housing Quality Standard

21 Apr 2010 01:42 PM

Tell us what you think about the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.

The Wales Audit Office is examining the progress made to improve peoples’ homes and living environments in line with the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) and to deliver wider regeneration benefits. We are focusing on social housing but are still keen to consider what the WHQS means in terms of private-rented and owner occupied homes.

Whoever you are, we are keen to hear your views and experiences about delivering WHQS related improvements, and the wider benefits to residents, the local economy and the local environment.

Perhaps you:

 • work for a local authority or housing association and would like to tell us about how your organisation is going about achieving the Standard;
 • are a resident in a home owned by a local authority or housing association with a view on the quality of your own housing and work that has been undertaken to bring it up to the Standard;
 • are a private contractor with good or bad experience of doing improvement works for a local authority or housing association;
 • are a councillor or board member and have views about implementation of the Standard.
