BCS publishes comprehensive introduction to agile principles

Agile practice has transformed the way organisations carry out business and respond to change. To be successful, an agile mindset needs to be adopted throughout an organisation, not just within the IT team, according to the latest book to be published by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

Agile Foundations: Principles, practices and frameworks

Lead author and editor Peter Measey explains: “To be flexible has become vital for a business in today’s global markets. The purpose of agile is to allow organisations to react to the increasingly dynamic opportunities and challenges of today’s business world, in which IT has become one of the key enablers.”

Agile Foundations: Principles, practices and frameworks by Peter Measey and Radtac is aimed at those working in an agile environment or wanting to understand agile practices. It is also the official textbook for the BCS Foundation Certificate in Agile.

The book gives a comprehensive introduction to agile methodologies and will enable readers to apply core values and principles in their organisation.
