Call for Proposals: European e-Justice Portal

The European Commission launched a call for proposals under the CEF Telecom Programme, earmarking €2 million for the deployment of a European e-Justice Portal.

Under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Telecom Programme, the European Commission has launched a call for proposals for the deployment of broadband networks and European Digital Service Infrastructures (DSIs), including €2 million for a European e-Justice Portal. This is part of a broader call, with €10.5 million earmarked for improving digital infrastructures.

Interested applicants from all EU Member States, as well as Iceland and Norway, may submit proposals. The current CEF Telecom call (CEF-TC-2016-2) invites proposals to undertake actions contributing to the deployment of European Digital Service Infrastructures in four different areas, of which the e-Justice Portal is one. The portal will provide information and services in the judicial area and the maximum budget is €2 million.

A Virtual Info Day providing information on the call and application process will take place on 3 June. Applicants should submit their proposal through the link on the individual 2016 CEF Telecom Calls webpages. The deadline for submission of proposals is 15 September 2016. The evaluation of the proposals is expected to start in September 2016. The results of the evaluation and the decision on allocation of the grants are planned to be announced in February 2017.
