Let’s redesign the health & social care customer experience: join Socitm’s regional workshop events
Socitm’ health and social care event series, staged in collaboration with the Department of Health and adult social care association ADASS, will be disseminating learning and galvanising action in response to the information and technology challenges of current and planned health and social care reforms.
The events are providing information about the context for change, including the ageing population, the impact of austerity, and technology advances, as well as changes to the responsibilities of local authorities embedded in the Care Act 2014, and financial drivers for health and social integration, like the Better Care Fund.
Workshops run between 24 October and 9 December in: Birmingham, Blackpool, Durham, Exeter, Guildford, Leeds, London and Loughborough.
Outputs from Socitm’s recent health and social care Summits in Leeds and London, including delegate feedback captured through social media and online polling, are setting the agenda for the regional workshops and can be seen on the National Summits page.
