TEDxBinnenhof: 12 European entrepreneurs that could change the world

On 31 March 12 innovative European entrepreneurs will take to the stage in the Knight’s Hall in The Hague as part of TEDxBinnenhof. The entrepreneurs will share their ‘Ideas from Europe’.

Solutions to social challenges

In the run-up to its EU Presidency, the Netherlands organised a competition entitled ‘Ideas from Europe’. Each member state was asked to invite their most innovative entrepreneur to compete for a chance to speak at TEDxBinnenhof. On 31 March 12 European entrepreneurs will take to the stage in order to discuss their ideas for solving social challenges. They’ll cover issues like high-quality education in developing countries, accessible and affordable medicine, and creating jobs for people with a disability.

State Secretary for Economic Affairs Martijn van Dam will open the event. European Commissioners Carlos Moedas (Research, Science and Innovation) and Elżbieta Bieńkowska (Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs) will also take part.

Video livestream

Live-viewing events are being organised across the world so people can follow the talks in real time. TEDxBinnenhof will also be streamed live on this website on 31 March.
