Futureskills Scotland publish Sector Skill Profiles 2007
Futureskills Scotland has published the latest set of Scottish Sector Skill Profiles for 2007. These are produced in association with many of the Sector Skills Councils. The profiles can be found in our Industries/Sectors area.
The sector profiles provide robust, comparable information across important sectors in the Scottish economy. Each report covers the structure of the industry (full/part-time working, occupations, wages, age structure of the workforce), recruitment and vacancies, skill shortages, skill gaps and training and development. The principal data source is the Scottish Employers Skill Survey 2006, which is undertaken by Futureskills Scotland. Other data in this profile has been taken from official sources and all sources are footnoted.
