All change for FSA e-News!

It’s all change here at FSA e-News, with the launch of a new format newsletter that offers you a better and more informative read.

We’ve changed the format of the existing FSA e-News to an HTML email so you will now be able to click on the stories you want, at a glance. You will also be able to access video footage, for example of board meetings and engage with us across all our social media channels if you have feedback to share on one of our stories. We are very excited and hope you will like it too.

In this issue

In this issue we focus on the recent Board meeting held in Aberdeen at which the new strategy to tackle campylobacter was debated. The Board also discussed the FSA’s Incident Contingency Plan and compliance within the meat industry.

In news, we look at the recent salmonella and E.coli outbreaks, FSA action over DNP and consumer advice on new allergen labelling rules.

Research focuses on new information on loose foods for those living with allergies and we share the usual round up of consultations, events and jobs.

If you think this monthly digest of Agency news will be of value to any of your colleagues, partners or stakeholders, please urge them to subscribe at the link below.

We hope you enjoy the September issue. You can also receive email alerts about the publication of FSA e-News by subscribing below.
