FSA tender for 2014 Commonwealth Games emergency exercise
The Food Standards Agency is inviting tenders for a Commonwealth Games emergency exercise contractor to develop and deliver, by the end of January 2014, a simulation exercise based around a food incident occurring during the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The exercise will involve the relevant games-hosting local authorities and other participating organisations.
The Agency requires a suitably qualified and experienced emergency exercise consultant with knowledge of the food chain and relevant organisational arrangements in Scotland. The contract specification has been published on the Agency's electronic public procurement system (ePPS); see link top right of this page.
The closing date for tenders is Tuesday 12 February 2013. Tenderers will be notified of the outcome of their tender appraisal and the preferred tenderer will be selected in late February 2013.
