As part of our commitment to improve access to Government business for SME’s, we are running a webinar to explain how to bid for, and win, more Government business – with specific emphasis on GPS procurements.  The webinar will address the issues identified by SMEs, illustrate the opportunities that exist and how to make the most of them.  It will:

• Describe the importance of SMEs to government procurement strategy and outline government initiatives that support this
• Identify the issues and concerns raised by SMEs and demonstrate how GPS is addressing these concerns
• Describe and explain the GPS bidding process and how it has been improved to accommodate SMEs
• Offer practical hints and tips to help SMEs win more business

The webinar will take place on 15 January 2013 from 11.00 – 12.00 and will consist of audio and slide images with a facility to receive and address questions from the audience.  The webinar will be chaired by Stephen Allott, Crown Representative for Small and Medium Enterprises, Cabinet Office, and the panel will include senior category specialists from GPS.
