QCA/UCAS 10th Annual Survey on 14-19 education
All schools and colleges in England are being invited to participate in the annual QCA/UCAS survey on 14-19 curriculum development and reform.
Given the scale of the upcoming reforms, QCA and UCAS are encouraging contributions from as many schools and colleges as possible. This year's survey is designed to :
- seek comments from centres on their experience and thoughts about how the reform programme may affect them and their students
- establish a 'baseline' for evaluating forthcoming and future developments
- assess the level of collaborative provision in 14-19 education
- gain feedback on the Diploma.
The survey is available from the UCAS website until Friday 11 July.
Feedback from schools and colleges on their experiences and attitudes is critical to understanding the impact of the reforms, and will inform future development work on the curriculum and qualifications for 14-19 students. The survey's findings will assist higher education in formulating appropriate entry requirements and will be shared with other agencies, including the DCSF, Ofsted and the Association of Colleges.
Different versions of the survey are available for different types of centre to reduce the chance of centres being asked to complete sections that are not relevant to them.
If you have any queries about the survey, please contact Tamsin Lord in the Policy Unit at UCAS on 01242 544 813 email: policy@ucas.ac.uk
