European Scrutiny Committee report launch
The Backbench Business Committee allocated time on Thursday 28 November, for Mr William Cash, Chair of European Scrutiny Committee, to launch the Committee's report on reforming the European Scrutiny System in the House of Common.
Publication of a Select Committee Report

"That this House has considered the publication of the Twenty-Fourth Report from the European Scrutiny Committee, on Reforming the European Scrutiny System in the House of Commons, HC 109-I."
The Committee scheduled this motion at the start of business to enable the Chair of a select committee to present a report which is being published on that day. The Chair speaks for up to 15 minutes, taking interventions from members on issues relating to the report.
