Socitm selects governmentM to provide its 2013 annual conference app
Socitm, the leading public sector IT association, has again teamed up with its Premium Partner, governmentM, to provide the official app for its prestigious Annual Conference.
The app, created using the governmentM platform, will offer delegates all the information they need to make the most of their time at the conference.
Adrian Hancock, Socitm Chief Executive, said: "We're really pleased to offer this governmentM Socitm2013 app to our delegates. It will enhance their experience of our Annual Conference, providing not only all the key event information but also links to our LinkedIn group and Twitter feeds, so that delegates may participate in all the Conference conversations with ease via their mobile device."
Delegates planning to travel to the Annual Conference can download the Socitm2013 app by pointing their mobile browser to: https://socitm.ombiel.co.uk/get. All areas of the Socitm2013 app, which is developed and managed on the governmentM platform, capitalise on the power of iOS 7 for iPhones, with compelling Android services and a responsive HTML5 solution. The app also offers an in-app feedback feature.
The governmentM platform delivers flexible native apps and responsive HTML5 that support all areas of local government, from citizen services to tourist information. It makes light work of app deployment, analytics, updates and customisations. The platform works with device capabilities such as push notifications and offline working to turn high-cost transactions - such as bin collection enquiries - into intuitive mobile interactions that council service users can complete without resorting to the Call button. Compliant with G-Cloud, governmentM engages all users with personalised services targeted to profiled groups such as citizens.
Conference delegates can find out more about the governmentM platform and how it can transform public services by visiting the governmentM team at exhibition stand GH32.
