This week, we're pleased to be able to tell you about the exciting training we're offering, which has been refreshed and rejuvenated for the new financial year.

Our brand new Training and Development programme has been put together especially for community organisations, and is aimed towards those with a limited training budget who are still keen to develop their staff and volunteers.

The programme breaks down into four sections:

• Community Development
• Partnership Essentials
• Organisational Development
• Personal Development - coming soon!

We've got a number of great courses that are available now for you to book onto, including Writing Better Bids, Managing Volunteers, and Working with your local Jobcentre Plus. You can take a look at all of the training courses available now here.

Each of these programmes is made up of several bite-sized webinars or online courses so they can be accessed at your convenience and from the comfort of your own computer, at work or at home.

Centre partners will receive a 33% discount on all non-accredited course prices, and can access the Partnership Essentials courses only available to partners. We'll be adding more modules throughout the year, in consultation with centres in the network, so do keep an eye out for new courses coming soon.

We're also very excited about our Level 3 Award in Community Development, which is a nationally recognised course, ideal for anyone involved in community development. Accredited by OCN, this in-depth course will help you gain a deeper understanding of what community development is, how community group dynamics can work and the importance of community diversity.
