Institutions asked for feedback on REF
Institutions participating in the REF have been invited to provide feedback. The deadline for responses is 2 May 2014.
David Sweeney, Director (Research, Innovation and Skills) at HEFCE, and Professor Anne Greenough, Chair of HEFCE’s Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategic Advisory Committee, have written to all universities in England that are taking part in the REF 2014. The letter invites universities to provide feedback on the REF.
The UK higher education funding bodies for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have written to their universities in similar terms.
The feedback will help to build greater understanding about the strengths and weaknesses of the exercise. It will also help to identify where refinements may be made in future.
