Insurance Services
In partnership with Pro5 (with YPO as the lead organisation), we have launched the invitation to tender (ITT) for Insurance Services. This is the first national framework agreement for insurance, covering all classes of insurance and all sectors.
This collaborative approach to the procurement of insurance services will deliver a number of benefits to our customers including:
- Control of spend across the public sector
- Transparency of costs within the supply chain
- Supplier and market management
- Cost effective risk management
- EU compliant framework agreements
- Improved management of data and claims information
The scope of the framework will cover:

Brokerage services

Insurer (underwriting)

Claims management

Risk management
The main types of insurance catered for are liability, property & construction, travel & personal accident, motor insurance and some specialist insurances. A full list can be found here.

Based on the project timescales it is expected that the framework agreement will be awarded in January 2013.
Suppliers interested in participating in the procurement will need to be registered on the eSourcing suite and can register here.
