Foundation degree framework for integrated youth support - consultation now open

LLUK are working with the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) and other partner organisations towards a reformed and integrated children, young people and families workforce.

As part of this work, CWDC is commencing consultation on a proposed foundation degree framework for integrated youth support. The framework, which aims to be both flexible to allow for specialism while bringing an element of commonality to the variety of existing foundation degrees in the sector, has been developed by the Open University and CWDC. They are seeking input from higher education providers, employers, workforce practitioners and young people to help ensure the framework meets the needs of everyone involved with Integrated Youth Support.

The latest draft framework document is available, along with a question sheet which aims to facilitate collection and collation of comments:

Please send all consultation response sheets directly to the Open University, c.I.brisland@open.ac.uk by 12 November 2010.
