We announce successful applicants to the fourth round of our touring fund

Arts Council England yesterday announced the successful applicants to the fourth round of our Strategic touring programme. A total of £2,647,109 has been awarded to five organisations.

The successful projects

Successful projects include the development of new touring networks for dance, theatre and the visual arts, a touring photography exhibition documenting Britain's manufacturing industries and the development and tour of new collaborative work by young people, professional digital artists and performance companies.

You can find out more about the five funded projects and download the full list of projects awarded funding so far on our Successful applicants page.

Increasing access to the arts in England

The Strategic touring programme is designed to develop audiences for great art in England and to build partnerships between artists, producers, promoters and venues, in particular, those on both the supply and demand sides of touring.

We are investing £45 million of Lottery funding in the programme over the next three years which complements other investments in building audiences for the arts such as our digital arts service The Space and our Creative people and places fund.

How to apply

We are currently accepting applications for Strategic touring funding. If you would like to apply, please visit our Strategic touring pages.

Applications can be submitted at any time in the year however we have published key dates on forthcoming funding rounds to help you plan your application.
